It seems that, for better or for worser, society is building a vast interconnected machine. The feeding of that machine is only taking more and more resources, attention, etc. Those resources and attention are paid for with our lives, either in the daily grind of attending to the machines needs, or the times with the machine directly kills one of us. Is that machine acting for the good of human kind? Does human kind even know anything about this machine? It's true neeeds? Is human kind free to choose whether this machine is primary, or whether it is human kind that's primary?
